Quail Valley Country Club is the centerpiece of the Quail Valley Community. Quail Valley's 5,000 homesites are nestled along Oyster Creek near Highway 6 South, close enough to the Southwest Freeway, Highway 288 and Murphy Road to be accessible to many areas of Houston. Quail Valley's winding roads and many home styles offers a change from the familiar "cookie cutter" style of lots and homes. Begun in 1969, it was the first master planned community in Missouri City and one of the first in Ft. Bend County which is currently experiencing a tremendous growth surge. The seasoned foliage and towering trees enhance this community, which boasts over 100 second-generation families.
Quail Valley Proud is a volunteer organization which sponsors various beautification projects throughout the neighborhood. The Quail Valley Monthly, a local newspaper published by the Herald Coaster, is filled with news about Quail Valley's residents, students and community activities. Quail Valley Proud, Quail Valley Fund and Quail Valley Country Club work together to promote a great quality of life.
